Kids' Workshop at Home Depot - FREE!

Are your kids climbing the walls because it's too cold or wet to play outside? Are you looking for something to beat the winter cabin fever blues? Then, you need to discover the FREE Workshops for kids at Home Depot.

My family went for the first time in January. It was wonderful. All the materials (except paint) were provided and each child got to create his/her own project. There was a little help required by grown-ups but, they could do a lot on their own. My daughter was really excited, and the first one to get her project fully painted. She was so proud, she took it to school to show her kindergarten class!

The next workshop is Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. They'll be making a Car Display. Check with your local store to be sure they're running the workshop. Our local store does not require pre-registration, but many stores do, so call ahead to find out. The workshops are designed for children 5-12, but honestly, nobody was checking ages when we went. If you think your 4 year old would enjoy this, I'd encourage you to take him (or her!).

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have never been to the home depot kids crafts but I have heard about them plenty. We have a childrens museum where the kids can make there own craft and my kids loved it. I should definitely check out the schedule and see when they have there next one.
