Take them to the National Air & Space Museum on a day when it's 100+ degrees outside.
Mine slept for 12 hours straight after our visit yesterday.
Mind you - I slept for 9 hours straight too!
We used to live in MD and would go down to DC all the time, though not during those hot days.. you are brave..
