Kids' Workshop at Home Depot - FREE

Every year it happens. A few days after Christmas, all the new toys have been tried. The family has been visited and the kids are starting to climb the walls. There are more days before the kids go back to school and you're looking for something new to keep them occupied for a while - other than plopping them in front of a video screen.

There's a great opportunity to burn off some of that cabin fever this Saturday, January 2 at Home Depot. This week kids will be creating a perpetual calendar. The hands-on sessions run from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM and are offered at most Home Depot stores. You'll need to echeck with your local store to see if they're running it and if you need to register. Our local store is running the workshop and does not require that you sign up. I am looking forward to taking our kids to this one because our Kindergartner is still learning her months and this will be a great way to reinforce her calendar skills.

Thanks to Moneywise Moms for the heads up!
